The company executed the rehabilitation project of the Fassria Water Tank, affiliated with the Douma Water Establishment, as part of an integrated engineering work plan aimed at addressing the structural and mechanical deterioration of the tank and restoring it to safe and reliable operation.
The project included site handover and documentation of the existing condition, dismantling and removal of the old mechanical system, and the supply and installation of a new system of pipes, flanges, control components, and measuring devices. The scope also covered civil rehabilitation works inside and outside the tank chamber, including cleaning the chamber from sludge and debris, scraping and preparing the walls, ceilings, and floors, treating joints, honeycombing, and exposed reinforcement steel, applying plaster layers and slope concrete, in addition to internal and external waterproofing works and roof insulation.
The project also involved supporting metal works, including the preparation of the operations room, the construction of a metal platform and staircases, the installation of food-grade stainless-steel ladders inside both tank chambers, the fabrication and installation of metal doors, and the installation of rainwater downpipes to ensure proper drainage.
This project reflects the company’s ability to execute water infrastructure rehabilitation works under challenging technical conditions by combining civil, mechanical, waterproofing, and structural repair works. These efforts contributed to improving the tank’s readiness, enhancing operational efficiency, preserving water quality, and extending the service life of the facility.
